“ Called in off the cuff as my mum had just come out of hospital I thought it would save dad cooking. Well what can I say mum & dad thoroughly enjoyed their fish that was cooked to order and absolutely delicious no soggy batter all nice and crisp. The guy who owns the chippy was an absolute diamond he goes above and beyond to satisfy. Dad won’t have his fish from anywhere else now and has had a fish from there most weeks now since March. The guy even sold dad a handful of chips that may I add he cooked him fresh. No other chippy that we have been to will accommodate this it’s either a portion or none. Dads well happy and we would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ”

“ Last got a tea from this place two years before this review at minimum, remember it being a bit mid field and having better options in the area, however i'm pleased to say that the small fish chips and battered sausage meal i got this afternoon was absolutely lovely, and definitely a big improvement! the batter was lovely, crispy and thin, and the chips tasted so much better than they'd looked, a big surprise and definitely a welcome one. This place is also marginally cheaper than local rivals, but in my opinion, it's about as good! chippies in this area all have their own better strengths, and i think this place is where you want to go for value. ”
